- I loved this book, this book is all about loving an impossible dog. Marley was lucky, only a few people could afford his idiocies and fewer yet would put up with them. - I cannot believe this book was a number one bestseller. The techniques used by Grogan and his idiot wife are downright abusive. This is a case of two selfish people who got a dog to fulfill their own needs.
