Not so impressed: I am currently using this book with level I Spanish and I have to say that I find it to be very confusing for the students. The activities in the book are appropriate and varied, but the lack of written directions sometimes confuses the students, especially visual learners. Pretty good, more vocab oriented: I like the Paso a Paso series. I skipped from Spanish I to Spanish IV with the help of these books. You do indeed develope pretty good, and useful, vocabulary in the texts. You are also ready for the next book if all you get to is chapter 8. Only 8 chapters are necessary. good: Good text book. It will prepare you for what you need to know. I bought this book and skipped Spanish 1 in 9th grade. All As in Spanish 2. I can't complain.
Frankly, I'm not really interested in Spanish. The book isn't interesting, but it is helpful if you want to get a start in the language. … More reviews
