- Eclectic and Wonderful
- Excellent purchase, even better considering the price. The quality is outstanding and there are some very funny postcards. They are slightly larger than the regular ones, and although I can think of some occasions there's no postcard in here for me to send, they are wonderful and I love them and I can't wait to use them on my postcard exchanging sites.

- Not for me, maybe for you
- Downside: The cards are too big to send with just a postcard stamp. You need a First Class stamp.
Neutral: The aesthetic of these cards is somewhere between a joke cocktail napkin from the Fifties and popular art from the Seventies. As an example, one card has a splotchy scribble in one corner that, after you look at it for a couple of seconds, resolves into a blocky cartoon drawing of two human profiles. These cards provide a lot of "aha" moments like that, but to my eyes, they're all the same kind of "aha."
Upside: good quality stock, glossy finish. If you want to use the cards as backing for your own overlays, they're nice and heavy. - 2008-06-13, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Not that varied a selection, cheesy aesthetic
- Out of the 100, I found three that I'd be willing to spend a stamp on. Definitely investigate Mr. Fletcher's visual style and see if it turns your crank, because the cards are almost all one aesthetic, and I found it cheesy and dated (mid 80's, maybe?). I'm keeping the wooden box (which was a little broken, but easily fixable with gaffer's tape), but I have no use for 97% of the cards. If you're looking for a nice varied set of beautiful photo postcards, as I was, you can't go wrong with Postcards: 50 Postcards from the Book 'Magnum' (Postcards)

- Great collection, great price.
- I am a teacher and was looking for postcards so I could send thank you to my students who gave me Christmas gifts. I ordered this box thinking I'd find a few that were suitable for teenagers. Instead, ALL of them are great. They are visually engaging and of high quality, and the price is unbeatable. I especially liked the large size and the fact that there is not a lot of print on the back. I was delighted with this purchase.

- Great assortment
- This is a fun assortment of postcards. Great price too, since I do send out a lot of cards. Some are funny, some cute, some just plain weird! I am happy I made this purchase!
But, like the others have said, the box fell apart completely. Cardboard would have been better. - 2007-12-03, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
