- Painfully Beautiful
- Being a Vikings fan is a painful existence. This book is very well done and captures the highs and lows, from the team's beginning all the way through Adrian Peterson. Tons of great photos never before seen, Reusse writes that many of them were discovered in yellowed envelopes the old drawers of the Minnesota newspapers. It's all there... Joe Kapp, Purple People Eaters, Fran, Bud, Les, Burnsie, The Sheriff, Randy, Cris, A.C., Matt Blair, Drew Pearson-- WHAT?!!! DREW PEARSON!!!!!!!!! In the words of Nancy Kerrigan, "WHYYYYYYYYYYYY????!!!!!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! Great book. A must of all of us who bleed purple and have put the time in. Every Viking fan needs one of these. Super.
