- I don't keep alot of these ingredients in my pantry, as one review suggested. I'm very disappointed.

- A feast not only for the table but for the eyes
- What a delightful cookbook. This is really a walk through the author's garden and life, and a wonderful trek it is. The connection of good food with a natural life-style fills the pages and the pictures support the calm and healthy way this family thrives.
A must for all who love good food and who enjoy life. - 2008-12-27, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Coffee Table Cook Book
- One should never judge a book by its' cover, however, it was love at first site for me. This is an amazing work of art- and a definite coffee table book where I keep mine. The photos are impressive and the overall layout of the book is sensible and overall easily read.
The recipes are wonderful; each has a slightly different twist of ingredients that add to the delight of the finished product.
I orginally purchased this book for a friend as a birthday gift and once having seen it purchased one for me. - 2008-10-24, 1 of 1 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- beautiful book, great recipes
- I ordered this book sight unseen, largely from the reviews and the fact that I loved the cover. It is the perfect kitchen-garden cookbook...full of delicious recipes you'll actually use from ingredients you likely have on hand or nearby. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to cook...especially those with an interest in garden to table cooking.

- Elegance and simplicity.
- What a beautiful book. This author is the real deal. I have been a fan of her innovations for years. Jeanne's recipes are creative, delicious and user friendly. And seriously, if you want to increase your popularity, use the chocolate cake recipe and make cupcakes. Bring these to a social event. You will have instant best friends! (And maybe a new lover, or two.)
