- Beautiful Story
- This is a beautiful little story. I gave this to my sister for my niece for her 1st Christmas and all though my niece is too young to appreciate the meaning, my sister was truly moved by it.

- The little hare can never win, so sad
- I love the fact that the relationship between the two characters is left open ended. I hate that the big hare keeps outdoing the little hare. Just say "Thank you. I love you, too!"

- Prepare for tears
- This book made me cry -- a grown man! I read it to my 3-year-old son, and felt myself tearing up as I got to the end. The artwork is first rate, too.

- Nice book to have in your childs library.
- This a cute story but by no means up there with Goodnight Moon or I'll love you forever, the Napping House books. Do read this beforhand to make your own judgement. I do enjoy my sons first books to be the board book style so that i like, but the choppy dialougue is distracting for a tot. My son does prefer books with rythem (sp?).
