Excellent
Apart of the mini size of the capital letters, apart of the small space for the scores, this book is absolutely necessary if you play guitar, bass, drums or piano. And, obviously, if you are a Beatles fan.

Music is a must
I wanted music scores for my four grandchildren who are learning to play the piano, guitar and violin. They have just discovered the Beatles this past summer. This book has nothing but the sheet music of all the songs the Beatles ever recorded. No pictures, no dialog, nothing but music. Thick, heavy, hardbound, book, my grandchildren are all very happy with it. So therefore, so am I.

If only the small print was the sole problem
While there are some things that are quite well done in this collection (and some things lacking that one can't realistically expect, such as variations in the parts when a section is repeated), there are some very inadequate transcriptions as well.
As a pianist, I can vouch for the keyboard parts being completely wrong at times (especially where keyboards are featured, as in "Martha My Dear" and "Lady Madonna," for example). The sped-up solo in "In My Life," in contrast, is quite close. Given the method used---having several people working separately, one for each type of part---it's not all that surprising that some aspects are weaker than others.
The guitar parts look more impressive to me (but I'm much less proficient on that instrument). Then again, in the opening of "A Hard Day's Night," surely someone (John?) is just playing the open strings with a capo on the third fret.
All that said, I think anyone who doesn't want to take the trouble to figure out what was played by listening to the songs over and over can learn quite a lot from this book. I'm giving it such a low rating because if it was worth doing (and I think it was), it was worth doing much, much better. But with the price, even of used copies, don't buy it, as I did---borrow it from the library.

print way too small
This book is great for collectors, but not appropriate for playing or singing due to the very small print.

What a Beatle fan always wanted
The original scores are just something else. Other reviews alreadly stated about the small print; you can copy and enlarge it. Here you have all the Beatle songs in one hard copy volume. It's not too great for playing directly from it due to the fact that it doesn't balance too well on the piano sheet holder or on a music stand. But I still think it's a must for Beatle lovers.
