- Not perfect but certainly THE BEST !
- This book is awesome. People who give 1 star to this are obviously hard to satisfied and I wonder what have they found to be better than this great collection of REAL COMPLETE SCORES.
Complete scores => you get much more than the damn exact copy of the melody for the right hand piano part. You get the bass lines, the guitar tabs, chords and solos, the exact (or almost exact) piano accompaniment, the vocal (including back vocals !), the main drum pattern and even the other non conventional instruments (harp, organ, strings, etc.).
Sure, there are a few mistakes in this book. Most are very minor and are due to personal interpretation. Are can you build up a perfect score arrangement from old recordings like the Beatles albums ? There are so many subtilties in their music
PROS :
-ALL the songs are there, even those not written by the Beatles.
-It is THE BEST Beatles score book available and as far as I know one of the only full score book existing for rock music.
-ALL the instruments from EACH song are written, usually on different staves.
-It is a real treasure of great music, fun to play and great for band playing.
CONS :
-The high number of pages makes the book hard to hold on a stand when you are near the beginning or the end of the book. They should have made the pages full sized and less numerous. Because of this, you often have to "turn to the next page" to follow a score.
-Scores are written quite small. It is not a problem for me, but I guess it is a big one for a few people.
-There are no tempo markings at the beginning of the songs. Most people know the songs very well before playing but this would ave been a great add-on.

- This book is seriously da bomb!! But it loses 1 star for not having the keyboard part for Dig A Pony. Come on now...it's supposed to be COMPLETE!!

- Amazing Book, Great Price
- This book has everything. I use it all the time. Even if you can't read music, it's far worth its price.
To the people who aren't sure about TAB - the tablature makes up for what you can't see in the music, the music makes up for what you can't see in the tablature.
This is an amazing book; I wish they had this for all of my favorite artists. But, I am so happy I got this. It's really fun to use, and the Beatles are my favorite band, so it's even better.

- Great for Guitar Lessons!
- My son's copy of The Beatles - Complete Scores was borrowed by one of his high school teachers when he was using it to give her young daughter guitar lessons. He graduated and went off to college without getting it back (it was well-worn anyway), so I recently ordered a new one on Amazon! He found it invaluable when learning to play himself---actually taught himself with this book! It's something to keep forever!!!

- Good book - small print
- I enjoy the scores very much. The print is small, and to play some of the music on a keyboard, I need to copy the music and enlarge it. It's fun to listen to the songs and follow along with the scores. If you're a Beatles fan, as I am, this is definately something that you will want to have.
