Few bands of the 1960s retained as much a sense of the roots of rock and roll as did Creedence Clearwater Revival. Their music is rife with country, rockabilly, and R&B influences, a combination that produced several hit singles — most of which are present on this collection. These include "I Heard It through the Grapevine," "Lodi," "Up Around the B ," "Who'll Stop the Rain," and of course "Bad Moon Rising." This is an excellent greatest-hits collection, and a perfect introduction to the music of a band that has been enduringly influential. — Genevieve Williams

- Too cool.
- Creedence Clearwater Revival is definitely one of the coolest bands of all-time. Frontman John Fogerty is one hell of a singer/songwriter. How can you not love classics like Down on the Corner, Fortunate Son, Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Susie Q, and many more. This is how southern rock is supposed to be done, I highly recommend it! Good job fellas. More reviews
- Missing some good songs !!!
- If the record company would add: "Good Golly Miss Molly,Keep on Chooglin, Born on the bayou, Hello marry lou, Midnight special and maybe Obee-dobee",.......we would have a perfect CD. At the lengths there makeing CD's now....."I'm sure they could tack on these 5-6 songs to the end of this album, AND make a ONE CD album ". Which is what CCR needs, More reviews

- Great Songs
- Credence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty are classic rock at its best, a mixture of blues, rock and catchy songwriting created memorable songs that still have people singing these today.
This is a good collection of many of their hits and well known songs and I put it on the CD player for my children and they now are singing along. More reviews
