Professional chefs have long sung the praises of the KitchenAid stand mixer. Now, KitchenAid has designed a product specifically for the home baker with this nine-speed hand mixer. Its digital display shows the selected speed, providing precision control, while an electronic sensor works with the powerful yet lightweight motor to maintain that speed in any mixture, heavy to light. Designed with nonclogging air vents, the mixer is easy to clean because smooth, sleek surfaces have no seams or grooves that trap ingredients. The mixer comes with traditional beaters, a pro whisk attachment for fluffier mixes, and a one-year warranty. — Linda Dahlstrom

- Sound is very quiet.
- I think the weight is also light and the sound is also very quiet.
It isn't used for cooking yet, but I feel powerful.
Though it wasn't also expensive like the price, I was happy because there was also a whisk by which I thought it was separate sale. More reviews
- Somewhat disappointed with quality of this mixer!
- I purchased this mixer from Amazon.com in March of 2008, and after mixing a few batches of cookie dough, the beaters are clicking and wobbly. Although it's nice having the 9 speeds (easy to turn up the speed or turn the mixer off), the beater problem is simply poor quality and I expected better from KitchenAid. I've always loved my KitchenAid 6-qt. More reviews
- great deal
- I haven't used the mixer but two times since I purchased it but am completely satisfied. I can't belief how quiet it is compared to my old one. It mixes thoroughly. I'm not used to the digital adjustments but it seems to work well. I would recommend this purchase to anyone looking for a new hand mixer. More reviews
- Great mixer!!
- This is really a great mixer!! I do a lot of baking & use a mixer a lot. I literally "wore" my last one out!! I like how this one starts up slow, so it doesn't sling the ingredients all over the place. Also, it has plenty of power to get any job done. I also like the fact that the beaters are so easy to clean. I've never paid this More reviews
- Great for Both Quality and Cost!
- This is the best hand mixer ever! I am very limited on counter and storage space in my kitchen, and this is perfect little appliance that can be stored just about anywhere. I had been using a Kitchen Aid hand mixer, but it was only a 5-speed. Just didn't seem to have enough power for cookie dough, whipping potatoes, etc. Initially I had considered More reviews
