- this fits standard five gal bucket snug so as it doesn't fall off. it appears that it would keep water/rain out of your bucket. the container built into the lid does not seem so water repellant. dont put anything in their that cant get wet even accidentaly.

- Holds small items in their compartments in any position. Must close lid carefully. Strong enough to sit on, but I'm only 160 lbs.

- Bucket Boss is a real winner. They have come up with a great idea and they keep improving and adding to their great idea. With Amazon's prices, it makes for the best tool carrier you can have. - Could be a little better, but still a good product.
- It is very convenient and seems to hold up well to being used as a seat or a step stool. My only complaint is that the lid latch is not very positive on both the storage compartment. It also isn't very solid snapping onto the bucket. I solved both problems with a bungie across the top of the bucket over the lid. Set up like this, it works out quite nicely.

- The cover for this item just doesn't close properly. It's left and right edges will not stay tight to the base.
