If we had a hammer, we'd hope it was as technically advanced as this popular pounder from Death Stick. The light but deadly hard titanium head on this hammer gives all the nail-killing power of a full-weight steel framing hammer, in only 14 ounces. The theory behind this is that the force delivered by a hammer comes not only from the mass of the hammer's head, but also from the velocity at which it swings. The same amount of arm-swinging strength propels this hard titanium Death Stick toward the nail a lot quicker than it does a heavier steel hammer, giving the nail the same wallop, while your arm has less weight to carry around. Physics aside, this high-tech hitter also has a magnetic nail starter so you can avoid painful finger whacking. Best of all, there's nothing like a fancy new titanium hammer to spark conversation and make you the envy of other carpenters you meet. — Brian Trinen

- Awesome Hammer
- I used this hammer on allumininum Gutter Installation. The hammer really felt lighter, and swung like a 28oz. hammer rather, than my 20oz Estwing that swing like a 20oz hammer. I recomend this hammer to anyone that "swings it" everyday. More reviews
- Death Stick - D160 DOTIC
- On 18 May I bought a 14oz. titainum death stick. It has been less than a month and the waffles on the head are worn out. There is a big nick in the claw between the forks. It should be at least 18oz. The handle feels good. I will be taking this hammer back for a refund. More reviews
- A serious review
- As a professional in the building trade I highly recommend this hammer. The light weight is great when your pounding nails all day, 5-7 days per week. Its worth every penny !!! I have the curved handle version (it cuts down on forearm strain}. More reviews
