- A Classic all should see at least once.
- This is a good movie for all the family to see. It represents the values I grew up with in the 40s and 50s. Filled with humor and drama, it keeps your attention. Get your popcorn before it starts. You won't want to get up during the movie once it starts, not even if you have a pause button. I give the movie 4 stars, and More reviews

- This is a wonderful movie that I never knew was available on DVD. It is one of our favorites from the "Coop" - wonderful cast, good story, Anthony Perkins first film role - excellent cast all the way around, Dorothy Maguire. Good movie for a Sunday. More reviews

- The film, ostensibly, is about the moral dilemma of conscientious objection to violence - the Quakers who will not fight for a "good cause." Sadly, this 1950s stab at a serious subject - in the shadow of nuclear destruction - squibs the effort.
