- Good compressor, poor design
- This compressor does the basics well - compress air. The issues that I have are in the design of the unit.
1. The bleed valve location is on the back of the unit next to the compressor motor, which makes it hard to access and there's burn potential for hands.

- Hard to start
- This compressor kicks out the overload on cold start ups. With an ambient temperature of 70 degrees and above I don't expect difficulties with start up, but I have to re-set the overload 5 to 6 times with the tanks empty. I had this identical compressor before (it was stolen) and I never had a problem with start-up unless it was below freezing.
- DeWalt - What more need I say?
- This is a great little compressor for the money! I didn't need a real high volume unit, as I only plan to fill tires & blow dust out of my electronic devices - I have 19 pooches and there's a lot of dust "in these-here parts"! The compressor has performed flawlessly. I'm pleased! More reviews
- not so hot hot dog
- I returned the DeWalt compresssor because I believe it had been used, probably briefly, returned and reshipped to me. It arrived with considerable oil in the bottom of the carton. When attempting to initiate set up procedure, the owners manual was unclear and necessitated a call to a DeWalt service center. - Need to buy another compressor
- I purchased this compressor because the specifications indicated it was powerful enough for a specific project I was working on. I checked the specs on DeWalt's website, too. While I have loved all other DeWalt tools I own, this was a waste of money as it did not have enough CFPS to power the tool I bought it to use with, even thouth the DeWalt site… More reviews
