Hardwood utility chest
This is a well made utility chest for the price,i use mine to hold my special measuring and machine tools in. It has plenty of storage and looks nice on my workbench. The only bad thing is that i had to buy another one for my wife to use as a jewerly box, which it works excellent for the top i modified with a necklas rack. I made small dividers for drawers to hold rings watches etc. it looks nice on her dresser also. I recommend that when buying don't buy just one! I friend also bought one he stores all his special tools and instrument for his airplane in,it looks great on his bench in the hangar. Even though it is made in china they did a good job

Mine was perfect - very satisfied customer...
I hesitated because of some bad reviews but because of the low price I decided to 'Go for it'. After all, many other reviews were positive and if something was wrong with my box when I received it, I could always just send it back. Anyway, am I glad I ordered it!!! Mine is GREAT!!! I'll probably add something to lock the top and drawers closed and also some stops to keep from pulling the the drawers all the way out, but I give mine an A+++++ for value for the buck. I don't see how you could beat it!!!

Excellent for the money...
I purchased this for my husband as a place to store all the small specialized tools he has acquired over the years. This chest is perfect, and looks great, too. Although it isn't the finest woodworking, it is very good quality for the price. My husband and I are very pleased.

Is what it is.
It is an inexpensive tool box. Saying it is hardwood is kind of an overstatement. I wanted a good starting point to build a storage box, and this worked well. I couldn't have built this much for the price.

Don't treat it like it's real...
The handles are held on with 3/16" long screws into veneer. They fell out, the box hit the floor and it shattered all over the place. It's a cheap POS. Buy one for another hundred bucks, it's gotta be better...
