Poor Quality, ill fitting
I'm a carpenter in Michigan. I need a glove that allows me to pick up a nail and manipulate it, and keep my hands warm. The reinforcing patches on the finger tips are stiff and restrictive. Also the stitching began to unravel after one day on the job. The only good thing I can say is that they are warm, except the area on the back where they leave your skin exposed. You would be better off buying two pairs of mechanics gloves for the price, and keep one pair warmed up.

Dexterity good, but insulation poor.
I bought these gloves because they promised to keep my hands warm while providing good dexterity. They deliver on the latter promise better than any work gloves I have owned. I am able to button my chore coat, select keys, and pick up small tools while wearing them. Unfortunately, they don't do a very good job of keeping my hands warm. My fingers were numb in well under a half-hour in forty degree weather. At the price, I expected better insulation.

poor stitching
I purchase a pair of these gloves and the stitching along thumbs started to rip immediately,I do a lot of lifting of boxes for a few hours each day,In my opinion they would not last a day handling lumber.
How ever for light duty they may do the job.

A Great pair of Outdoor Work Gloves
This is an excellent pair of work gloves for the cold weather. I put them to the test this past weekend, working with Christmas trees in northern Michigan. My hands remained warm for the entire two days in the sub-freezing temperature. The gloves were flexible enough to handle the equipment very easily, such as the chain saw, bow saw, trimmer, and even tying the string. Best of all, the clothes were strong enough to resist the 'scratching' of the pine needles and bark.
The leather and kevlar patches were strong to the wear, yet flexible to the touch. Whereas the glove is somewhat water resistant, it is not waterproof. It also breathes very well, so even an active operation will alllow the hand to not feel confined.

An excellent outdoor cold weather work glove!!
