c
this is not a fancy grider but does the job. It does not have a automactic shutoff like it shows. You have to check and see if the beans are ground.

GROUNDS FOR EXCELLENCE

Long favored in Italian homes and now appreciated throughout the world, the DeLonghi line of household appliances has built an impressive reputation on high standards of quality and reliability. This Electronic Coffee Grinder is one example of the finely tuned implements DeLonghi offers.
It is not only a whiz but innovative, equipped with a grind selector providing quantity control. You may select Coarse for Percolators, Medium for Drip Coffee or Fine for Espresso.
Grinding blades are of stainless steel ensuring smoothness of operation as well as long life. A user friendly grip invites us to hold the grinder easily, and rubberized feet prevent slippage. No more sliding across a counter top while grinding!
State-of-the-art in style and usage this grinder is surely grounds for excellence in coffee.

Worst grinder I've ever used
--and I've used a LOT of grinders. VERY badly designed, and the "custom" thing is a gimmick and a sham: it's a standard rotary grinder. They just added flashing lights and extra buttons, and made it look bulkier. Every day was a misery dealing with this thing: it's designed so that you have no choice but to spill grinds all over the place when you use it.

Grinds just the way you want it!
My husband and I bought this grinder several months ago, and it works great. We use it every week and have had no problems at all. We especially love the speed and accuracy of the blade, the 12-cup capacity, and the wind-up cord that disappears from view. This grinder sure beats having to grind your beans at the supermarket where you end up with all of your predecessors' residual grounds (and completely different beans!) in your cup. This was the primary reason we chose to buy our own grinder. Not only is the DeLonghi a performer, but it also looks nice in the kitchen. A lot of our friends have commented on it and bought one for themselves. Try it. You'll like it, too!
