Fun and Educational - A must have game!
I use to sell Discovery Toys and this was always one of our top sellers. I give it as a gift all the time and actually my friends are now giving it as their favorite gift. The kids love the unique dispensor and trying to get Zingo, while you will love the educational aspect of Zingo. As a Mom of a 3 1/2 and 5 year olds, this is a must in our home. Have fun with your kids!

Zingo...Fun for the whole family
We received this gift at a picnic over the summer. In our group, we had a mix of kids and adults. Although designed for kids, the concept of bingo is ageless. What is different with this game, however, is the fact that not everyone shares the same call. The successful player must be the first to claim the Zingo piece by shouting out it's name before other players if they have it on their card. It is a game of memory, recognition and speed all bundled into one.

Why hasn't this toy won a major award?
It's remarkably difficult to find a toy that would be fun for two adults and a four-year old girl. Last year, Blokus was a rare find. This year Zingo is the gem I found at Wegmans (best grocery in the U.S. according to the Consumer Reports). Not only does it teach a child to follow simple rules to play a game--in this case a Bingo-like game, but pictures with words on plastic tokens instead of numbers--we each have to spell the word before placing a token onto our cards.

attention holder
I got this game for my daughter last year when she was 4. The suspense of what chips are coming next really holds her attention. She enjoys pulling the sled back and forth to reveal the new chips. The cards are two-sided, allowing for two levels of difficulty. It's kind of like bingo except that you match pictures.

kids will love it
We got this for our grandchildren about 1 1/2 yrs ago and they loved it. They have since moved (across the Pacific)and it didn't get packed, but I'm sure they would still love it (they are almost 6 and 7 years old now). Even we grandparents loved playing it. I would say it would still be fun for a child up to the age of 10 easily. This is not a game that I found in any store----only online. It would be a great birthday or Christmas gift.
