A Very Good Machine for the Price
This is the first espresso machine I've owned, but I can see no problems with it so far. It works extremely well, makes the espresso quickly, and is fairly easy to clean. The DVD that is included is extremely helpful for people out there who haven't used an espresso maker before. I know someone else with the same machine, and she has had no problems either. If you're looking for a relatively low cost espresso maker, this is the one to pick.

Good machine for the price
I received this espresso machine as a gift. I have been very happy with it over the years, but unfortunatly today it gave up. I think the heating element went out. It gave me three years of good servive. So sad to see it go. I would buy it again.

Great for the Money
I purchased this for about 60 bucks 6 months ago, I used it heavily at first. I made approx 1-2 drinks per day for 2 months, but I have tapered off lately, opting for tea. This espresso maker took some tinkering with the grind and roast of the beans, I tamped my grounds slightly as well. After some tinkering this made a decent shot of espresso, however somewhat stale after a lengthy pull (the exact length depending greatly on how I ground my beans and tamped my grounds,my shortest pull was about 30 seconds...what do you expect from an 800 watt machine? The steamer scalds milk along its sides, so it needs lots of attention. I also found that there is little difference between the steaming and frothing function, but you can achieve a dollop or two with practice. I am very happy for 60 bucks, but I will upgrade when I can.

Doesn't Hold Up
We previously had a Krups and then a Braun espresso machine. Each lasted ten...yes, 10...years. When the Braun went kaput, I purchased the Capresso. I didn't want anything fancy but something that would hold up to our daily use. The machine was very simple and perfect for a beginner. Unfortunately, it died one year and one month after purchase. Go figure...one month after the warranty was up. Things that make you go...hmmmm. I won't be buying another.

Started out good...for two weeks
For two weeks this machine worked good. Then slowly it started to fail. And this was only making one to two cups a day. Going back!
