Loud and somewhat annoying
We got this as a gift for our 20-month old, and I had wanted it for a while. Had I known how loud it was, I would have never asked for it - it sounds like there is a hairdryer in it. The music is really annoying and there is no option to turn off the music and still play with it (bad design IMHO).
My toddler also would stick other toys in the there, expecting they would come out. Many hours were spent consoling our child as to why it would not work, and then hours trying to get items out of the curvy tube (skewers, hangers, you name it to push them out). We finally put the toy away and hid it. We couldn't take it anymore.
If it had a straighter chute, and was quieter, and had the option to turn off the music, it would be fine!

No other toy has maintained my son's interested from 3 mos old to now at 16 mons.
We bought this toy when my son was just 3 months old. It's amazing how he has enjoyed this through the months. He is now 16 months old and loves it just as much! He loves the balls popping out, the music, he now loves turning the switch on back off and on, tries fitting other objects in and discoverying if they will pop out too... great all-around toy.

Get ready to chase the balls
This toy is fun; it shows cause and effect and makes mom/dad run around the room scooping up the balls. be prepared to have all the balls pop up and roll away from where you are sitting so by the end of the song there are no balls in the machine. i keep a spatula/soup ladel with me when we play so that i can scoop the balls up as the machine goes. it is a lot of fun and the older the kid gets they can chase the balls. at 6 mo old our son enjoys pressing the button to start it and watching the balls pop up and then go back down the shoot. it is fun and worth the money.

Great, fun toy for all ages!
After seeing how much our children had playing with this toy at a friends' house, we decided to purchase this for our own kids (ages 6 months & 20 months at the time). Our kids have had a wonderful time playing with this toy- they think it is hysterical watching the balls pop out and chasing them and the music is fun, too. I definitely recommend this toy to anyone from age 9 months and up. Kids can use it for years to come and have a ball (no pun intended) with it! It also makes a great gift!!
