- GREAT Flashlight!
- This thing is superb. I have two of them. Very tough. Durable. Very bright. A bit overpriced? Maybe, but you get what you pay for. I've spent more and received less. It will no doubt last my lifetime. One of the leds failed and I called the factory. They sent a new led assembly in a few days, no problem. You can throw it into your toolbox along with the wrenches and sockets and be assured that it will work flawlessly when you really need it.

- An Excellent Flashlight
- The Streamlight 3C LED (#33202) has 10 LEDs and puts out a strong light, while still giving long battery life with its 3 C cells. It seems to be very well made and tough. I particularly like the on-off click button on the end, which is much easier to use than the twist-type switches many LED flashlights use. If your hands are wet or slippery, the twist switches can be hard to use. Comes with a plastic spring beltclip and metal hanging ring. Like most LEDs, the light is slightly bluish and somewhat diffuse but, unlike smaller lights, the Streamlight 3C still illuminates objects well at 50 or more feet. A chart on the package shows the beam distance declining with battery life from 50 ft for the first 4 hours down to 3 ft at 336 hours. Note that Streamlight makes other "Streamlight 3C" flashlights that look the same but have a different bulb: eg. the #33254 uses a xenon bulb, giving brighter light but shorter battery life - 5.5 hours for the xenon versus over 300 hours for the LED.

- 85 lumens and 350 hours runtime!!!
- You won't find another flashlight in the world that is going to give you 85 lumens of light output, along with 350 hours runtime on a single set of three C-cell alkaline batterys. The 10 LED's provide a difuse floodlight effect. This is not a spotlight, but a true mini-floodlight. It gives off an odd blue-white light that takes a little getting used to. However, after using this flashlight around my house for the past three years on the same original set of batterys, I gave the Streamlight 3C a big "thumbs up".
