Circulon 2 11-Inch Square Griddle

Circulon 2 11-Inch Square Griddle

Average Customer Rating: Recommend

Circulon guarantees that food won't stick to this griddle, and that it will outlast all other non-sticks. Now those are words to live and cook by! The patented rings provide a hi-lo cooking surface that gives food little to stick to, and the additional coating of non-stick material closes up any loopholes. So go ahead, fry a pancake without butter, it will slide right out of the pan.

This one wins MVP
If I have a most valuable pan, it's this one. It's great for grilled-cheese, pancakes, sausage, etc. I'm on my second, only because it was cheaper to buy a new one than ship my first one from the South Pacific. One word of caution--don't use too much cooking spray on it as it will build up where it's not used as much. I think the manual mentions something about that.

Good
The product arrived in a timely fashion. Although I have used it only once and the handle has begun to chip already.

Handiest cookware ever!

My wife picked Circulon for her new cookware but this griddle is a MUST have addition! When I was single a griddle just like this was 95% of my kitchen! For eggs, pancakes, whatever, the low sides and square shape are perfect!

uneven cooking
I chose this griddle because of the reviews: people glowed about this pan, and several had negative things to say about the anolon ones. I really wanted to be able to make pancakes, and didn't want an electric skillet or griddle because of the storage space those take up. I have used it three times now, and I find that the heating surface heats up pretty unevenly. You can definitely tell where the burner is under the pan, as the pancakes definitely cook unevenly. The pan is hefty, pretty nonstick, and the circulon ridges are lower nowadays, so bits won't get stuck between them. Not certain I'll keep it, however, because of the hotspots: was definitely not expecting this to be an issue in an aluminum pan this thick.
