- Not just a great game but
- Fabulous.
This game has everything anyone can hope for. Now, I know there are 495 reviews before me =) and it would be pointless if I say the samething the guy before me said all over again.
Well, you needn't worry. I wasn't going to repeat things that have been said before. I'm just here to tell you more about Battle.net and Campaign editor.
Now, I know this is a wonderful game and its fun in the melee games give you enough reasons for purchasing this game. But there are more to this game than it seems in the first place.
First of all, Battle.net is the free service Blizzard is providing you for buying a product of theirs. It is international and it has more players to it than most MMORPGs, where all the players would be playing online. If a game that supports the single player mode and many hours of campaign has more people online than MMORPGs, you figure out how popular it must be! And usually more people means more fun!
Another thing that seperates this game from other cool RTS games is It's IN-credible campaign editor. While the campaign editors from previous games of Blizzard were great, this one is IN-credible, if not perfect.
Because you can do so much with this editor, there are some of the coolest custom games I've ever seen available on Battle.net.
Now, making maps yourself is another kind of entertainment =)

- Warcraft III rocks! Similar to the Blizzard game "Starcraft" this game is jam packed with fun and it is a very strategic game, amazingly additive. This is a must buy!

- My, Oh My! I cannot express the hatred I had for this game when it was originally released in the Summer of 2003. In November 2003, I decided to jump the bandwagon and see for myself what Blizzard has done with this expansion pack. There is no turning back now...I am in love all over again. To sum it up, Frozen Throne adds 4 heroes (1 to each race), a host of new units with new abilities, 5 new neutral heroes, player built shops, host of new maps and enhanced battle.net features. This is not your ordinary "Let's add 6 maps, a new game mode and call it an expansion pack" kinda gig. The game is much deeper than it originally seems at first glance. Players of Reign of Chaos will feel right at home with the controls. Be warned and get ready for some frustration as adjusting to the economy system of Frozen Throne will take a little getting used to. Many will tell you that cost is down in Frozen Throne, and this is true to some extent...but they neglect to tell you that nearly everything costs more lumber now. Old strategies often fail, so don't expect to win with that old Reign of Chaos strategy. Frozen Throne affords some variety on a level not seen in Reign of Chaos, that is you no longer see people getting the same units in every game. In the old days, you'd know what your opponent was getting if say, he was an orc player. Frozen Throne also exhibits a slower style of gameplay than featured in Reign of Chaos. This is not a bad thing at all. People no longer tech (upgrade) as quickly as they did in Reign of Chaos as there is more emphasis on tier 1 units (particularly melee) to survive early game. The game is balanced as can be and updates are a plenty. As the case with all Blizzard games, online play is a blast. For the hardcore strategist, Frozen Throne aims to please and boasts a surprisingly long campaign considering it is just an expansion pack. If games of this genre are your bag of tricks, don't miss out...pick this title up today!

- This game is simply awesome.If you played games like starcraft,Age Of empires or age of mythology this is simliar to all of them but better.With Warcraft III It Adds:
One new Hero per race, each possessing powerful spells and magical abilities
A host of new units, each equipped with new abilities and spells, giving players the opportunity to create diverse strategic and tactical forms of combat
Player-built shops, unique for each race, equipped with items carefully designed to improve and aid the units of every race
Neutral Heroes, available for recruitment by all players, that can supplement and strengthen a player's army with all new spells and abilities
Expanded multiplayer options over Battle.net® including multiple new game types, clan and tournament support.If you are looking for a game to get good at I suggest you pick
this one as it will be a top game for about at least another 2 years.
