more trouble than it's worth: I spent more time untangling my 100' extension cord from this reel than I've ever spent untangling my cord w/o it. By the time I finally got the cord untangled, the reel had cracked. It wasn't worth the hassle.… More reviews

Nice reel.: Nice reel. I was able to get 100' of 12/3 on it without a problem. The winding handle does want to fold while your winding, but it's not a problem if you pay attention to what you're doing. I'm going to order some more. More reviews

Great product but not idea one: It is very great product but the design is not that perfect.
When you use it(pull out or real back), the "head" of cord is twisting. It won't hurt your cord, only if you take it out from outlet.

Better than expected: This is a very well designed product. 1.) The reel comes with two "hooks", that when screwed to a wall, allow you to easily and securely hang the reel on the wall with the crank facing in either direction. Great for mic cables: I purchased these to reel up 25ft long pro mic cables with XLR connectors. They can hold 10 of theses cables securely and allow reeling them up so you reduce the risk of breaking internal wires by improper or too-tight wrapping. I only wish they were bigger!
