Get back to your roots with the OXO Good Grips Wooden Tools. Made of solid beech wood, these sturdy Wooden Tools are comfortable and durable. A natural oil finish coats the wood, leaving a clean, dark glaze. Safe for non-stick cookware and comfortable to hold, the Wooden Tools are handy for a host of cooking tasks.
Despite all the bright-colored, high-tech silicone kitchen utensils out these days, there’s nothing quite like the good old-fashioned feel of wood for cooking needs. Crafted from solid beech wood, this strong 14-inch spoon is ideal for stirring deep pots of thick stew or for doling out generous dollops of macaroni and cheese. A natural oil finish protects the wooden spoon without contaminating food, while the give of wood means the spoon is safe for nonstick cookware.
True to OXO’s creed of designing products that are easy to use for the widest range of users, the handle, which is flat on top and sensuously curved underneath, comfortably fits the hand. A hole in the end allows the spoon to hang where it’s most needed. Set in a crock, the large spoon forms a handsome bouquet with OXO’s other wooden utensils, such as a smaller mixing spoon, slotted spoons, a pancake turner, and a spaghetti server. Wooden utensils are best washed by hand. OXO backs all its products with a satisfaction warranty, and will replace or refund any returned item. — Ann Bieri

- Long handled spoon great for non-stick cookware
- This is a sturdy spoon with a long handle. It is very nice to cook with. Mine seems to be one piece and I have no problem with it splitting, for this reason. The spoon takes longer to dry after washing, than plastic. Other than this minor inconvenience, I much prefer cooking with this spoon to the plastic ones on the market. More reviews
- Biggest Wooden Spoon
- When I took it out of the box, couldn't beleive how big around the handle was. I like it, it's sturdy, hope it will be around for lots of years of stirring various dishes. More reviews
- A hardy wooden spoon
- This is one quality, product. The Beechwood is ideal for this product.
I was looking for a spoon, not as good, as this. I wanted something that was lighter to handle. It is definely a professional product. More reviews
- solid wooden spoon
- This is a solid wooden spoon. Excellent quality. I am very happy with it. More reviews
- A little thick
- This spoon is good and sturdy, but the handle is pretty thick, so if you have smaller hands you might choose another spoon. In contrast with a thicker handle your not afraid to add extra pressure. More reviews
