Hoover H3010 review
Was recommended to me by daughter-in-law. Have small kitchen and bath. The Hoover works very well. Easy to use, easy to clean, takes a lot of work out of doing these floors.

Where's the extra brush?
I bought this model of Floormate because it came with extra filter and brush.
No extra brush was included and now Amazon has me contacting Hoover to
find out why. Where is the quality control?

I'm glad I bought it used!!
There are good and bad things about this product. First let's cover the good. You don't have to bend over to scrub the floor, you don't have to get your hands wet and keep rinsing out a mop or scrub brush, it is "convienient" to use and the cleaner smells good.
The bad is what made me glad I had bought this used instead of paying full price for a brand new machine. It is inconvienient to clean, it doesn't scrub the floor like I had hoped, if you want a really clean floor you need to just get down with a scrub brush and do it. Now, if you do this everyday it might be better, but don't try to use this on a really dirty floor. The squeege doesn't pick up as much water as the description might let on and the brushes leave marks in the water after it has dried so you see lines of film. Not bad but not what I had hoped. It is louder than I had hoped.
That is the good and bad of this product in my opinion. There appear to be a lot of people out there who love this, I don't hate it but I sure don't love it either. Like I said, I am glad I didn't buy it new and pay full price for it.

An ineffective, annoying to use "cleaner"
This is a later follow up. I am even less pleased now having used it for another 6 months. The time it takes to really clean a floor (including scrubbing areas by hand that the cleaner will not clean), and then rinsing out the cup with the dirty water, makes this not the unit to buy. It has been a total disappointment. Also, the cleaning solution that is made by Hoover (Lysol no longer makes a cleaner for Hoover cleaners), has a very strong chemical odor although there is no disinfectant in the cleaner.
Follow up: Don't count on this to clean your floor, never mind disinfecting it. You have to go over truly dirty spots many times, and after that still get down on your hands and knees to wipe up whatever remains. It's convenient, but does not do a good job in cleaning. Perhaps there will be a newer, more effective model in the future. I would not buy this again. Like others, the cleaning tank and the recovery tank are small and you have to dump the dirty water and add to the cleaning tank very often.

Second best reason to live in the 2000's
I love this machine. Ran across it searching for a new vacuum. Although my home is 90% wood and tile floors, I'd never even heard of a "hard-floor" cleaner. I was sceptical, but the floors hadn't been washed for over 6 months & the reviews looked promising.
So I read the directions and started in on my kitchen tile. It wasn't perfect, but it was a whole lot better than mopping. It didn't seem to suck up the water very well, so I did the skating around with an old towel, which I kinda like anyways..
I noticed that the indicator thingy for wet/dry on the base didn't seem to change when I moved the handle switch from scrub to vacuum.. Figured it was a defect I could live with.
When I was almost done, I finally realized there's a foot pedal to lift and lower the brushes and cleaner. I'd done the whole floor in "dry" vacuum mode and I was still pretty happy with it.
Now that I knew how to use it, I redid the entire floor in about 10 minutes with the machine set properly and it's awesome. Am actually looking forward to tackling the hardwood tomorrow.
All my friends will hear about this one, just as they did the 1st best reason: Endometrial ablation (no more periods!)
