Electric timer has digital countdown display and automatic shutoff, with beeper sound at end of cycle. Features settings in half-hour increments, from 4 to 14 hours. Includes eight 6-oz.unbreakable, polycarbonate plastic jars, recipes and instructions.

Makes delicious yogurt: This little machine is great and easy to use!! I like it very much; my only wish would be that the plastic tops to the cups were easier to pop off once I am ready to eat the yogurt. More reviews

No thermostat: This is the only yogurt maker I've ever used, and in the 3 years I've had it, I almost always get great yogurt, but you should know that this is not temperature controlled. That means that in the summer when the temperature in the kitchen is 75 deg F or higher, the middle four cups finish hours ahead of the outer 4 cups.… More reviews

Almost perfect: I love this yogurt-maker. It's a breeze to use, and the yogurt is wonderful. One complaint: some (not all) of the plastic lids are almost impossible to remove from the jars without using a prying tool. I use an old-fashioned bottle opener.
