- Good for the price
- This record player spins well-make sure to click the tone arm to start the spinning again! (Or you might think the machine is broken) I thought the volume control and tone control were decent. Not a record player for an audio fan, but I have really enjoyed it so far.

- Does the Job, Fairly Nice Machine
- It's a decent, good looking machine for the money. Not fabulous, but serviceable and decent looking.
The arm and the table area (inside the cover) are kind of plastic-y, but it plays well and we have had no problems with it. I like the fact that it has a floating turntable. Also on the plus side, it plays records well at all three speeds, and I like the fact that Crosley has replacement needles so I don't have to go hunting for them. As another reviewer commented, I wish the power adapter stored in the case. (Or, I wish at least it hand a standard cord instead of a chunky plug-in adapter.)
Good vintage look, and it sounds pretty good. - 2008-04-11, 2 of 2 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- This thing is amazing!
- What a great little record player! Came quickly, no dings, works great. The Tan is really nice, although I realize now that I wish I had got the tweed....just that much more retro.
The sound is great! The tone nob lets you play with either getting that warm glow or the crisp snappy old timey sound. It's surprisingly loud too! Other reviews have ragged on this player because the quality and sound....IT'S A VINTAGE STYLE RECORD PLAYER..NOT A BOOTY BASS DJ TURNTABLE SET! COME ON!
First thing I did was put in some Django and light a fire....priceless!!! I plan to use it at our next croquet party. - 2008-03-12, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Very Disappointing
- Hi
I got this product as a gift from someone. Let me start by saying that I was very happy to get it initially as it's a small and compact thing. However I was majorly disappointed at the sound quality and the volume level.
I though of connecting it to my amp but was shocked to discover that it didn't even have an audio output to be able to connect it to an external amplifier.
I suggest buying something else which either has a USB and external outputs or has an in built CD writer and external outputs and not wasting money on this. - 2008-03-02, 2 of 4 people found this review helpful, Rated:
