Beautiful lamp but I had a problem with it: I really liked this lamp...when it worked.
After 7 months this lamp just stopped working. I changed the light bulb several times with bulbs (I spent about $20 on bulbs trying to get one that works), with no good results.

Excellent Halogen desk lamp: I purchased this in Jan '08 for use as a bedside lamp and work desk lamp. I'm picky about my lamps and I spent a good deal of time looking for a good reading and task lamp. At $100 this was much cheaper than the commercial grade task lamps, and it's stylish too.

Good for the right purpose and person

Although this lamp has some important flaws, I can live with them, and it has some excellent qualities for the price.

For a lot more money, you can probably find better archiect halogen lamps, but this looked better than other similar lamps in its price class to me.
