Pipe, rebar, and shaped steel are no match for the power of this Hitachi cut-off machine. A powerful 15-amp motor runs the wheel at 3,700 rpm with no load. Angle cutting requires just a little adjustment to allow cuts at 45, 60 or back at 90 degrees. At 90 degrees, its maximum capacity is almost 4 inches high and 6-1/2 inches wide. The vise at its widest is 9- 9/32 inches. It comes with a reinforced resinoid cut-off wheel ready to tackle the toughest materials, and changing out a worn wheel is a snap.
