- While not the best planer out there, for the $55 price tag it works. If you are doing exacting woodworking I'm sure you'll be disappointed. I used it to correct some bowing studs, and to bevel new door slabs. It handled both jobs with ease. The cutter is sharp, and the shoe was true.… More reviews

- This plane is not well finished and lacks an accurate depth adjustment. While it's cheap I think the also cheap Ryobi does a better job albeit without carbide blades. More reviews
