- Why did I wait so long?
- I recently purchased this butter keeper, with some insistence from my daughter. I don't know what took me so long. The butter stays fresh and in its cup. I'm delighted with this purchase.

I use a french butter keeper and looked in lots of gourmet/kitchen stores trying to find another. I purchased several of these as holiday gifts for friends and everyone was very pleased! - These butter bells are the best! They are low-tech, simple, and do a great job of keeping the butter fresh and spreadable. A butter bell makes a great hostess gift--unpretentious, useful, unusual and not expensive.

- I bougt this as a gift and it is the least expesive butter bell i was able to find! It's great quality and can hold about 3/4 a stick of butter! You won't find it any cheaper than this one!
