- Can be tuned to work quite well, and is thus a good value. IDK if it's Amazon's description or Footprint's, but it is described as having a low bed angle of 21 deg. This is not a low angle block plane, do not be confused. In fact, I haven't used this plane since I got the Stanley low angle block plane (12-690) which has a bed angle of 15 deg. … More reviews
