- I have bought literally 15 coffee makers in the last 7 years. This has come the closest to perfection.
1. It's easy to pour a cup. Stops the flow nicely and keeps the coffee warm and a push of the thumb and the lid opens slightly to break the vacuum and pours with NO -ZERO mess.
2. No floods on the countertop.
3. The only "small" drawback is that it doesn't have a removable resavoir. Filling it from the decanter is not a problem.
4. Has a built in Water Filter that is nice if you are making coffee at the beach I suppose.

- We found what we were looking for...
- Picture two Type A personalities researching coffee makers with a carafe in the brushed stainless category. Three days later....we found the Braun. We were a little hesitant since at that point there were no reviews on this model, but are we glad we chose it!
The coffee is best when using the gold filter (we like the silt). The aroma is wonderful and the carafe has absolutely no leaking or dripping or pouring issues; at all!
We grind the beans just prior to brewing so the grind and brews were out of our category (too messy), it's a little tricky to grind the beans just right not to get a ton of silt, but it's worth the tries!

- Nice coffee maker
- Really like this new coffee maker, great addition to the office. The carafe keeps the coffee warm for hours and the machine is very easy to operate.
I can see why some other reviewers wish it made the coffee at a higher temperature (if you like REALLY hot coffee), but this works great for me. I came back from a meeting a couple of hours after I made a pot and viola, the coffee was still warm and tasted great!
Recommend using paper filter vice the gold one that came with the machine.

- Beautiful and functional
- Although this coffeemaker lacks extra features, its beautiful design and excellent performance make up for the un-needed features. The coffee is excellent, and after 6 months I've not had one complaint or problem with this machine. The carafe keeps coffee the perfect temperature. I love it!

- I have preferred Braun products over all others. Bought my dad one of these for Christmas, he used it for maybe two weeks and now it doesn't work. Does anyone have any experience with Braun replacement?
