Riedel Ultra 8-3/8-Inch Decanter
![]() | Average Customer Rating: Recommend I prefer to decant wines, both young and old. It is a sign of respect for old wines and a sign of confidence in young wines. Decanting old wines, just a few moments before they are served, helps to ensure that the wines clarity and brilliance are not obscured by any deposit that may have developed over time. Decanting young wines several hours before they are served gives the wine a chance to bloom Product details and pricing info |

- Great Conversation Piece
- I bought this for a couple reasons; 1, it's made by Riedel, and 2, because of its shape. Not only is the shape a conversation topic but it also allows the wine to breath much more than if left in the bottle. I use my decanter for EVERY bottle of red I open, regardless of age. The vast majority of the wines I drink are "young" wines and really benefit from breathing in the decanter for 2 - 5 hours.

- In love with this decanter
- This beautiful decanter is the best choice and the price can't be beat. It is a showcase for expensive or moderate priced wines. All the guest were truly impressed as the rich red wine cascaded down the throat and into the bowl. This is the answer to gift giving as well.
