- This is the proper replacement that I looked for everywhere, and once again, Amazon came to the rescue. I used the quick-connector from the old regulator so that I do not need to change out both of the propane tanks that I have. - This is a genuine Weber part and replaced a 14 year old regulator whose hose was eaten through by an animal. It seems to have additional safety shutoff features and is easier to connect to the tank than the original (no tools required; just hand tighten).
