- So good at the office, got one for home
- My office just got one of these and the coffee is great so fresh tasting and much cheaper then starbucks.

- Not so Great
- This makes a mediocre cup of coffee. Yes it is far less money than the elaborate coffee machines, but for a pod coffee brewer it is not so great. I have a Senseo, which costs about a third of the price and the coffee is much better. There is no creme on top and the amount of water pressure that goes through the pod is so weak that the coffee is very blah. Not worth the money. And I certainly don't mind spending it if the product works, but I give this one a thumbs down. Bummer.

- Better than Starbucks
- I have had a MCP for over a year now and I absolutely Love it. I have had a leaking problem that some others have written about, but always found it to be that the water resivour is not seated correctly, a bit of firm pressure on the top always takes care of it. Other than that I love the product. The Coffee pods you use makes a HUGE difference. If you use store bought pods like folgers or senseo, expect the coffee to taste much worse than a regular machine. If you use premium pods expect the best cup of coffee you've ever had. I ordered mine from colonialcoffeecompany.com, want dark and strong like starbucks, try sumatra, want sweet, try Creme Brule... MMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm

- Love it!
- I work in a very small office and this is perfect for us!
This makes really good and HOT coffee. I find that the tea setting actually gets more flavorful coffee.
This is excellent and I am thinkign of getting one for my home too. - 2006-05-16, 3 of 3 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Exceeds others on the market for quality!
- It's unfortunate that other customers experienced problems with their Bunn coffee maker. My husband and I love ours and have not had a single problem with it. I purchased the Bunn coffee machine in October 2005. This was a replacement to our Black & Decker pod type coffee maker which broke on several occasions. (We exchanged it several times until it finally imploded while last using it~)
Other than the expense of purchasing coffee pods vs. bulk ground or bean coffee, we love this coffee maker. Bunn is built stalwartly and is nicely designed. The coffee is served hot and fast! Plus, the cosmic blue beam backlighting illuminates the brewing process, and that's pretty cool! The Bunn has stood our test of time in brewing an average of six cups of coffee per day.
My husband likes his coffee extra strong so he uses the Tea button selection to "pulse" the brewing process. I prefer my coffee lighter so I select the #10 liquid level and it's perfect. Different coffee pod brands make a huge difference in flavor. We found that Millstone, French Roast, suited our tastes.
This coffee maker is a little more costly than the average pod style brewer, but well worth the investment. - 2006-05-11, 9 of 9 people found this review helpful, Rated:
