This game is an interactive plug and play adventure. Plug the training droid into your TV or VCR, and you're ready to begin. Requires 4 "AA" or LR6 Alkaline batteries (not included). Phillips/cross head screwdriver (not included) needed to install batteries in training droid.
While Luke Skywalker needed to use only the force in his training to become a Jedi knight (like his morally ambivalent and intermittently evil father), you will need a television set with AV inputs, an RF adaptor if your TV doesn’t have those, and four AA batteries which are not included in this challenging lightsaber battle game. Simply plug in the training droid and hoist the rather dinky sword as you follow along on the TV adventures. You get a chance to fight against an array of bad guys like Jango Fett, Darth Maul, Emperor Palpatine (don’t let appearances fool you, he’s spry), and Anakin Skywalker while you fight alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, and others. — Charlie Williams

- Awesome!!!
- My 12 year old son did not ask for this game as a Christmas gift. I saw it on line when I was looking for other Star Wars toys. He is a big Star Wars fan and I am so glad I purchased this game. He is not just sitting in front of the TV playing a video game. He is standing up swinging the light saber to defeat different characters and make it to different levels. More reviews
- Great action toy!
- I purchased this for my son when he was 10yo. He is now 11yo and takes it with him on all his road trips to play in the motels. It's compact, so he can take it with him. He loves the action,a nd it's great on a rainy day to let some of his energy out. Educational by teaching reflexes and hand eye coordination. Very good toy! Worth every More reviews

- All these reviewers are right
- I got this from an -ex's mother??? I don't know why. I don't even play videogames. I plugged it in curious, and played for a half hour, mostly laughing my head off.
Yes, calibration was problematic, though I could see that with time and care I could avoid all problems with that. Sometimes it wouldn't register that I had swung, especially toward More reviews
- Light Saber Fun
- This is a fun toy but a little bit hard to get used to/calibrating the saber etc. It is definately for older kids- maybe 7-8 ish(which is what they rec.). I got it for my 5 year old and he's done well but it requires some reading. My husband really liked it. Easy to set up (plug/install batteries) More reviews
