- I don't know where it is made. My guess is that it may be China. I have already lost one of the covers that protects the metal legs so they do not scratch the coating inside the pot I use for steaming. This does not make it unuseable, but I just have to be crefulwhen I set in the pot. If I knew this may happen before I bought it, I would not have.

- nice item, but useless for me
- All of the reviews I read said it was a good product but big. It was too small to fit all of my pots so it was pretty much uselss for me. I just went ahead and bought a nice electric steamer and am glad I did.

- Trudeau Stainless Steel Vegetable Steamer This product is well made and steams my vegetables well. Other products that I have used in the past were not well made and the leaves for the steamer basket fell apart. Before purchasing this product you should make sure that it fits into your pot because it is larger than other steamer baskets I have used in the past.

- Perfect Steamer for Large Pot (diameter ~ 10-inches)
- Super design, but it's BIG - fits a large pot. Perfect for a 5-Quart 'Dutch Oven' - diameter about 10-inches. It's too big for a 3-Quart pot - sad that some people were disappointed that way.
Has rubber/plastic feet - won't scratch pot. Plastic center handle has low specific heat - no worries about burned fingers - also extends 2-inches - better lift stability.
