- Dr Browns Bottles Are Made With Bisphenol-A
- I liked Dr Browns Bottles, my daughter Liked them too! Then I found out about Bisphenol -A being used to make the Bottles. After re-searching Bisphenol -A, I discovered that exposing my baby to harmful chemicals with the potential for long term affects later in life, was definitely not for me!! There are other options out there, all glass bottles are safe, as well as Born Free, Mam by Sassy, Green to Grow and Adrini. Do your own research. I'm really surprised the non Bisphenol -A Free bottles haven't been recalled yet! I'm sure it's just a matter of time, before enough people are educated.

- love this set!
- Got this as a baby shower gift. My baby is 3 months and started using this at 2 weeks. No problems with air getting in the nipple. Yes, this has 2 extra parts than normal bottles but they are ok to clean. I have the Dr. Brown's steam sterilizer which works well to thoroughly sanitize the parts. Overall, great product!

- Best baby bottles
- I (or I should say, my boy) like(s) Dr. Brown's Natural Flow bottles very much. This set comes with only two levels of nipples (level one and level two). As the child grows bigger, the nipples needs to be changed. There are five levels (Preemie, One, Two, Three, and Four) of nipples and a "Y-cut" nipple. The higher the level of the nipple, the faster the flow. If the baby refuse the bottle, there is a possiblity that the nipple is either a level too high or too low. Just need to pay attention to this, and you won't have problems with these bottles.
Well of course these bottles takes more time to wash, but as long as the baby feels good, it will actually save time (hay, just feed him/her and he/she's happy and go directly to sleep). - 2008-02-15, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- doesn't reduce gas
- I bought this set for my brother's baby. I read the reviews from amazon before I purhcased this newborn feeding set, and believed that it would help reduce gas. My brother's baby is one month old now and have been using the feeding set since birth. Surprisingly, my brother was informed by the doctor that the baby has a lot gas. Is this feeding set supposed to reduce gas?
