This toner cartridge yields approximately 2, 500 pages when printing at 5% coverage on A4/Letter sized paper. When the "Toner" LED starts to blink, the toner cartridge isalmost empty. You should order a new toner at this time to be ready for when the toner cartridge is out of toner.

- I needed a replacement cartridge for my Brother printer. When I bought the printer, I read reviews that stated it was a good, reliable, reasonably priced one...all of which I was looking for for home use. The one drawback was cartridge price, but I figured I could live with that.

- Hey, a toner cartridge either works or it doesn't, and if the manufacturer's own cartridge doesn't work, you shouldn't buy printers from them. Brother's TN-350 cartridge works fine in my HL-2040 printer, and despite much searching I've not been able to find a better price than Amazon's.
