- Hi8 still good
- Recently, my old TR81 (first Hi8) from Sony broke- the AF did not work any more. Of course the new Sony Hi8 338 is light years ahead of my almost 15 years old camcorder. The Hi8 standard still produces very good picture quality for the price. The new HD quality camcorders are $2000+. For me I will stick with the More reviews

have used, yet seems robust. I like the 20x optical zoom
and the option to use very high (990x) digital zoom. A remote is a feature I miss for TV viewing and transfer. Buy a larger battery. More reviews
