Bushnell Golf Pinseeker 1500 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder

Bushnell Golf Pinseeker 1500 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder

Average Customer Rating: Recommend

Measure from ball to pin, not ball to pine. The secret to a good round of golf is making accurate shots - not easy when the pin is competing with the trees around it for your rangefinder's attention. Next time, pack along the new PinSeeker. It's accurate to +/- one yard from 5 to 1, 500 yards away and will range directly to the flag, not the objects behind it. With two Selective Targeting…

Great device, complementary to pin sheet and/or GPS
This is a great device that works exactly as advertised _but_ it does not replace a pin sheet and/or GPS. If you're a 18 handicapper it is all you need. But if you're a low handicapper the pin is not always what you want to know, and it isn't necessarily that good for telling you the front and back of the green/ridges on greens, etc. For that reason I use it in conjunction with a GPS which tells me front/rear of green yardages. The GPS is not as good for pin yardages because I am telling it where the pin is, and I might be off in that regard.
If I had to have only one device, I would go wtih GPS. Smart golf is about playing to the right parts of the greens, and a basic knowledge of where the pin is enough to know where that is. GPS is better at telling me the yardage to that "smart" location. But when there is a total "green light" flag, it is great to have that perfect accuracy that the laser gives you.
Its also not useful if you're in the wrong fairway and have trees to carry, which makes having GPS a must as well.

A great invention!
What club to use? Often it is difficult to determine the distance to the pin due to many variables such as course markings (or lack thereof), optical illusions, etc. Now I just take a look with this rangefinder and all the guesswork is gone. It is very easy to use and seems to be very accurate. I love this thing!

A Good Friend on the Links
I recently puchased the Bushnell Pinseeker 1500 to replace my Leica Rangefinder. This is my third rangefinder and definitely the best one. It is so much easier to lock onto the flag with this upgraded rangefinder. The pinseeker locks in quickly and accurately. I used to take 3 readings to be sure I had the flag and not the background, but that's no longer necessary. The slope calculator is great too. I am a roaming golfer who rarely plays the same course twice in a season. This tool really helps me select the right club when I play from differing elevations.
This is a great supplement to my Skycaddie SG5 GPS. The GPS is fast and works great when I can't see the green, but the laser is still more accurate and lets you pick out the range to various targets like traps, lakes and woods which helps me keep from hitting into danger on courses I don't know well. I'm glad I've got it on my bag.

Bushnell Yardage finder A++++
This tool will help elevate your game as it will remove all doubt about your exact yardage. It's taken my short iron game to a new level. It works great on courses that you're not familiar with especially when it involves carries over bunkers, ravine, water etc. Well worth the money spent. I have 0 regrets.

Greatest Since Sliced Bread!!!!!!
My Husband loves this thing. I wish I knew about it last year or the year before that or the year before that for HIS BIRTHDAY/CHRISTMAS PRESENT. If I had known what it was and what it did, and if it had been a gift... I would still be showered with much lavish attention, but saddly, I hadn't a clue...so speak up guys and tell her what you really want. He loves the thing. Who knew?
