- Good player for the money
- This player does everything it claims. I especially needed a standalone player that could handle all the "burned" DVDs that pass through my house, and it certainly does that just fine. My only complaint, in fact, is that Coby players seem to be incompatible with all the universal remote controllers on the planet.… More reviews
- A champ in its price range
- Possibly useful advice: use the remote control as much as you can, avoid touching the buttons if you can. This is a VERY cheap machine, built cheaply of cheap parts. Do not expect it to be solidly built. However, if you minimize physical contact it could serve you well for a long, long time.

- This thing actual scratches my DVDs! I have to hit it to make it unfreeze (which my toddler thinks is funny, but I don't). It's getting worse all the time!
