The soft, flexible silicone bristles on this grill basting brush won't fall out and get into food the way real hair bristles do, and the clean-up is much easier, too. - The brush head itself is just the size I was looking for in a barbeque brush and works fine. The handle is also the right length. - I'm amazed at how well this works. I should have been using these for years. Some have complained it doesn't hold as much as a boar bristle brush. I think it does but you need to use it differently. This brush needs to be dipped deeply to take on a good load.
