Fun for parties: We have had our Wii for over a year. We bought some extra games to play, but so far, the ones that came with it (sports) are still our favorites. Fun, but...: to me, it's not a "real" video game console. I enjoy playing with my nieces, nephews, siblings, etc. with Wii Sports and Wii Play. Though, I would've liked the motion detector aspect a whole lot more if it wasn't the console's main focus. I guess I'm a bit of a purist. Fun but overhyped: I bought the Wii on the first day it was available and while it was enjoyable for awhile, a year and a half later it has lost most of it's fun.
