A full-featured surveillance camera, the DCS-G900 connects using 802.11g to your existing wireless network. The DCS-G900 features a high quality glass lens and CMOS sensor to capture high-quality MJPEG video.Controlling your camera is made simple using the included IP View Lite SE Software. IP View Lite SE manages up to four DCS-900 series or DCS-950 series cameras simultaneously. Using IP View Lite SE, you can set your camera to record whenever it detects motion, on a set schedule, or to record manually.Alternatively, you can view a live feed and take snapshots with any ActiveX or Java -enabled web browser, making it ideal for capturing a moment no matter where you are. Web-based camera access works with both PC and Mac.By signing up with one of the many free Dynamic DNS services available on the web, you can assign an easy-to-remember web address to the camera. Remotely access your camera without having to remember the IP address, even if your Internet Service Provider changes it.The DCS-G900 adheres to the Universal Plug & Play (UPnP) specification, which allows computers running Windows XP to recognize the DCS-G900 and automatically add it to the network. The DCS-G900 can be accessed and viewed from "My Network Places" as a device on the network.

- Apparently, does not work on Macs for set up. Only for viewing via browser. No excuses these days d-link! More reviews

- cheap camera, does what is says not much more....
a good toy, I would not recommend it for any real security purposes ( it would make a ok baby monitor although it does not work well in low light )
it seems to run the same software (& firmware) as the Hawking NETWORK CAMERA 11M WIRELESS ( NC320W )

- I have been using this new G series DCS 900 for about three months; it is is much better than the older B series cameras on my network. This one runs much cooler, has never "locked-up" and has the option that it can be viewed with or without a password (password still required to access internal settings). - Good enough to do the job
- First of all... for $100, this is a good camera.
Second, plenty of light near the camera lense (not necessary the subject) gives you the best picture.
Third, though not unique to this camera, be aware that any internet camera might be difficult to setup because your ISP may block the needed port. Good luck!… More reviews
