- better than I expected.
- After reading the other two poor reviews (they were there last year, I still bought one of the shears. I did talk to Kett customer service, and frankly they were nice enough. To be fair, I am not a professional, and have used this only on one, (but a full house) Hardie Board siding project. I used the shear almost exclusively for cutting the boards, the trim, (thicker stuff) and the soffit matterial. I suspect that since I did not have a timetable to meet, maybe I was a bit easier on this tool than the "pros" might have been. But it held up fine. You don't want to force it thru the siding, just let it cut, and it works fine. Still works fine. Not super fast, but pretty darn accurate and I sure can't imagine doing that job without it.

- This piece of garbage broke after 2 days of light use. Customer service is non-existant to totally rude. Don't waste a penny on this junk.

- it broke within 2 weeks of purchase even though we babied it quite well.
