Ambient Fire: Ultimate Video Fireplace DVD
![]() | Average Customer Rating: Recommend Shot in HD! Look, but don’t touch. Yes, the warmth and beauty of a wood-burning fireplace is mesmerizing. But, all fires and fireplaces are not created equal which is evident from Ambient Fire: The Ultimate Video Fireplace DVD. Visually, the DVD leaves nothing to be desired. It looks spectacular. There are a variety of different fireplaces on the DVD, obviously a desire to cater to everyone’s taste. There are "just logs", a marble fireplace, a "modern" Product details and pricing info |

- You'll really enjoy the ambiance...
- This is not the absolute perfect fireplace DVD, but I have no regrets about purchasing it. You'll love the options available (different fireplaces and sounds, etc) and the picture is great. My only wish is that each fire was shown from beginning to end, from initial roaring flames down to the dying embers, which is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. I have watched it dozens of times, and I especially enjoy reading in front of it. PLEASANT, RELAXING AND REALISTIC... RECOMMENDED!

- Not what I expected
- This movie is terrible. The plot is very hard to get into. It's mostly just shots of people's fireplaces. I watched the whole thing waiting for the shot to pan back, but it never did. Is there something wrong with my DVD player?

- exactly what I was looking for!
- The beach house that we recently purchased had all the amenities that we wanted except for a fireplace. I jokingly put this in my husband's stocking this past xmas .... but we've used this many times this winter and love it! It really gives a cozy feel to the room; the quality of the recording is exceptional and we opt for the "fire sounds" rather than background music. You won't be disappointed if you buy this!

- Tired of wood burning, & hate gas logs
- After many years of a wood burning fireplace, then converting to gas logs, this is the way to go. In building a new house, I designed a mantle and bought a black metal screen -- the kind that slides along a rod. In the "firebox", sits a 46" flat screen television. With a black frame of the set, and black marble around it, and fire screen closed --- it looks like a fire. It crackles like wood and produces "0" ashes. Gas logs don't make a sound, except for the spinning of your gas meter. This product only works as a back up heat source if you have an automatic start generator --- then it is perfect.

- Disappointed
- I was disappointed in this product. The fires all felt as though they were sped up, and instead of being able to luxuriate in the slow soothing flames and sounds of a fire, I felt hurried /rushed...as though each version had to complete and burn fully within the 1/2 hour. I couldn't find such a product...ie: the 4 hour fire that burns down to coals in real time.
