- I used this blade to cut aluminum. I was amazed at how smooth and effortless it was. The aluminum thickness varied from cut to cut, but the Morse blade did it's job. Steel took a little longer to cut. In some cases there were many sparks that shot out during the cutting, but cutting slower reduced the sparks. Overall I am very pleased with my Morse saw blade. I highly recommend it.
